Desert safari in Dubai — the best touristic attraction
The desert is astonishing and a little bit scary. The desert is the main attraction in Dubai. If you have never been in the kingdom of heat and sands, you may fall in love at first sight. Desert safari in Dubai — is the No. 1 touristic attraction in Dubai and you can’t miss it, because it would be real “blasphemy”.
Desert safari in Dubai — a tour for each and every person. Take a ride on an off-roader and skis all around desert, enjoy a dinner with Bedouins and make romantic photos with camels!
Let’s say a couple of words about the main elements of desert safari in Dubai. It’s worth noting that you need to leave at least a half of the day for this tour:
- meeting and a ride of an off-roader in the desert (sometimes they use four-wheelers) – 30-40 minutes
- skiing on the dunes and photographing – 2 hours
- meeting the sunset in a Bedouin camp, camel riding, henna tattoos, amazing dance show, national costumes and sunset photos – till 9 pm
- going back to the city (some tour include an overnight stay with sunrise).
You can buy a tour from your agent or right in your hotel. Prices are usually same and one person has to pay $45-65. You will have to pay more if you want to book a private tour without other guests.
Me, my wife and my daughter (12 years old) were simply astonished! We aid full price ($55 per person), because they offered discounts for kids of 10 years old and less.
We enjoyed a ride on an off-roader in the desert, skiing on the windy dunes, which can’t be found in Russia! We had a lot of memorable moments. Don’t forget to take neckcloths to protect your face when going down from a dune. Our driver was speaking Russian, so our tour was incredibly comfortable and easy.
A dinner in a village surprised us with both local food and a unique atmosphere. We immersed in a world of an ancient Arabic tale! They offered even alcohol drinks. It was pretty expensive, but one could buy beer and vodka. Food is amazing, but too spicy, so it won’t be the best choice for your kids. Maybe you can take something with you or offer only fruits to your child.
We tried everything. We made henna tattoos, rode camels and even wore traditional costumes to make memorable photos with the desert and sunset on the background! We also bought a small handmade rug and a couple of souvenirs as memory.
Desert safari in Dubai is definitely worth it. Go there and you will never regret it!
