Dubai Marina short guide: which places are worth your visit?

Published on January 19, 2017 by Dubai Apartment

The central area of Dubai Marina is a place that was included in all touristic routes of Dubai. It’s an area of skyscrapers that accommodates more than 100 thousand people. But you don’t have to hire a guide in order to make a pleasant walk around this district. If you know where to look, you can check all the famous attraction on your own. We offer you a short, but very interesting travel plan!

This yacht pier can be used to fit up to 600 yachts. Many snow white yachts are waiting their owners here, making this area incredibly picturesque. This area looks amazing as during the day, as well as at night. You can discover two different berths by visiting this place in different time. Gorgeous skyscrapers are making contrast over the blue sky during the day, while their lights are reflected in gulf waters at night.

Yacht club

Dubai Marina Yacht Club is located next to the berth and it’s a pretty logical thing. This place is more interesting for real sailors; however, tourists can rent a seabob or a catamaran here. We recommend you to rent a yacht or take a ride on a dhow boat if you want to enjoy Dubai Marina from water.

If you came here to spend time on the beach that means the Jumeirah Beach Residence will become your best friend. It’s located in less than 5 minutes from the residential area and stretches along 3 km of the coastal line. Interestingly, this beach is totally free. Only several hotel-owned sectors can be used after paying an entrance fee.

The Walk

The famous promenade of Dubai Marina is located along Jumeirah Beach Residence. If you don’t need to enter various luxurious shops, cafes and open terraces, you will need just 15 minutes to walk through. But we recommend you to visit shops, relax in cafes and check all the open terraces!

There are many interesting walking areas in Dubai Marina and one can reach everything by foot: beaches, berths, yacht clubs and The Walk promenades with luxury shops and restaurants.

The most iconic shopping places on The Walk: multi-brand Boutique 1 shop, Covent Garden and The Beach shopping malls, where one can find virtually everything – from daily products to jewelry.

Various street artists are performing on the promenade. A summer cinema is working here. Families with kids and lovely couples swarm this place in the evening.

You won’t be able to find the same amount of skyscrapers as in Dubai Marina: Cayan Tower (Infinity), Princess Tower, Emirates Crown, Marina Torch and Damac Heights.

Don’t forget to take a lot of pictures in order not to get lost in your memories and impressions!
